Storytelling

Storybook

Hand-painted, cozy and warm. For bedtime stories, folklore and gentle narration.

Gouache and watercolour textures with visible paper grain and warm light. For bedtime stories, folklore and slow, gentle narration.

The storyboard

Go in order: the character sheet becomes a Cast reference, the scene becomes the first frame of the animation, and any frame can become the thumbnail.

  1. Step 1: Character

Change the sentence that starts 'The character:'.

  2. Step 2: Scene

Change the first sentence to your own scene. The rest is the style.

  3. Step 3: Animate

Describe what moves in the first three sentences. Keep the rest.

  4. IT WENTWRONG

    Step 4: Thumbnail

Change the character and the words in quotes. Keep the headline to 2–4 words.
