Comic

Ink noir motion comic

Bold ink, halftones and one red. Built for true crime, mystery and history.

Graphic-novel ink with halftone shading and one deep crimson, framed in layers so scenes can drift apart like a motion comic.

The storyboard

Go in order: the character sheet becomes a Cast reference, the scene becomes the first frame of the animation, and any frame can become the thumbnail.

  1. Step 1: Character

Change the sentence that starts 'The character:'.

  2. Step 2: Scene

Change the first sentence to your own scene. The rest is the style.

  3. Step 3: Animate

Describe what moves in the first four sentences. Keep the rest.

  4. IT WENTWRONG

    Step 4: Thumbnail

Change the character and the words in quotes. Keep the headline to 2–4 words.
